Speaking of Hickson, who LOVED his finish today against the bulls? I haven't seen anyone on our team finish like that besides LeBron in a LONG time. I'm loving the idea that if we can get a vet like McDyess, Hickson can learn this year from guys like Ben, Z, and McDyess and be ready for a starting role once Ben/Z retire. |

Would he really want to come here? I would love to get Mcdysses but it may not be all about the money this late in his career. He would probably rather go to Boston cause of the fact they already won a ring.

Funny thing is, the addition of McDeyss may allow us to just sit on Wally's last year. It would allow for more flexibility in the offseason if we don't have to take on another couple of years in a returning contract. And as other have said, McDeyss could help if Andy decides to bolt. McDeyss may just be the big move we need. I'm not sure I like the idea of messing around with our backcourt trio right now. Even on bad nights, they are still effective. The list of replacements for them is short, imo. It would have to be a star. |

How am I overrating him? I said he brings a bit of a post presence, is a great mid ranger shooter. He's a terrific rebounder. You don't think 8.5 board under 30 minutes is terrific? He's not a great post defender, but he's a fantastic weak side defender, who will block shots and won't allow easy lay ups.
Overrating him would be expecting him to play like a star. He's a nice player to have off the bench who can give us more of an offensive punch.
Well I'm no hero, that's understood... All the redemption I can offer a girl is beneath this dirty hood.

Amen GF. Man... he would solve the thiness on the frontline! He's worth whatever mle you can offer him. He'd give us what Joe Smith gave us, except just more of it. Perfect fit on this team. And GF....me and you think alike. Delonte West keeps upping his stock and Larry Brown falls in love with him. Wally and West for G-force? I love west but I'd do that in a sec. wow. Good win. good rumors. good night. |

Right now, as it stands, our frontline depth is fragile. If everyone can remain healthy, sure our frontline is already very good. But we can't ride Z and Ben as hard anymore and if one of them goes down, our frontline disappears. It would be nice to bring in a player like Mcdyess. He's the benefits of Gooden without the headaches! He is a lot like joe smith....
This could kill two birds with one stone. We would shore up our frontline AND still keep Wally's expiring contract, allowing us to make a move as the deadline approaches wher ewe can sign a star from a team looking to rebuild and fix our shooting guard hole.
Godfather, about your money comment, this is where having an owner like Dan Gilbert comes in handy. He's willing to spend the money as long as it makes our team better. I'm pretty sure if he was given the choice of getting mcdyess, which would make us an elite team and legit championship contender, he would fork up an additional 10 mill without 2nd guessing it.
Guys just imagine. We sign Mcydess. Then as the Bucks start sucking later in the year, we combine some package of Wally/pavs for Red. A legit possibility too, I remember hearing that being thrown around somewhere by some ESPN writer. How sick would we be? Seriously, think about it. We would combine last year's Buck's prolific backcourt with our outstanding front court, throw in our defense, Lebron, and an actual bench.
Just think, by the trading deadline, our team could look something like this. Mo, Red, Lebron, Ben, Z as our starters. A bench consisting of West, Boobie, Kinsey, Mydyess, Varejao, Hickson, Wright, and fillers. Seriously. That would be such a dangerous team when you combine that with our strong performance in the playoffs and our stellar defense. |

If we get McDyess, do you think he will be place ahead of Ben and start, or would he come in off the bench for immediate offense, kind of like Boobie?
