Your not an idiot. But, I doubt Z will get in because it's the Cavs. We won't get enough recognition as a team, let alone our players. Mo better get in. LeBron is in for sure.

I also think that Delonte and Andy are as deserving as Z and Mo.  Am I insane?  Maybe, but those two guys have been playing some awesome ball and at least deserve to be on the freakin' ballot!

LeDan is right just because he knows it's a popularity contest.  Alot of people will want to see Rose.  AI is almost a shoe-in.  Mo will definitely be top 4.  Z should make it.

I wholeheartedly agree that it's a popularity contest, but the Cavs have already been on network TV several times this year.  I usually don't see them on ESPN or TNT so much before the NFL season is over.  They are getting much more exposure than in the past, mostly because of Lebron, but that's good for all of the players on the team.  I understand that Cleveland is a middle-market city and they don't get the exposure that Boston or LA gets (Celts are so damned overrated, but that's a conversation for another time...), but I think the entire league is starting to take notice of the Cavs this year.  They've always been a dark horse in the past, but with the ball they're playing, they are starting to turn some heads.  It's no longer the Lebron James Show featuring a guest appearance by the Cleveland Cavaliers, it's the Cleveland Cavaliers Show.  I stand by my original statement, yet I do realize that it will be harder for Mo than the others now... I forgot how many solid PGs there are in the east. While I'm loving West and Varejao's play this year, they're still not All-star caliber.  Varejao is making a solid case for 6th of the year, though.  This team's consistency and overall goodness is impressive; it's amazing what one year can do!

Those are the centers in the running. Z should get in, but Bogut and Howard might be the first 2 centers picked. Howard will start obviously.

You can cross off Bogut and Dalembert. Not enough recognition. O'Neal has an outside chance but I don't think he will make it either unless he starts playing better. I'd put Z in the running but I don't think he will make it, unless it's by coach's decision.

PGs...I would cross off Bibby (unless the Hawks still have an insane record), Felton, Ford, Calderon, and Miller. Calderon is deserving but I don't think he gets a lot of media recognition. Devin Harris has been on a tear, I could see him making it. AI is probably a lock now. Ford, nah, no one cares too much about the Pacers. Rose is an iffy, there isn't really that much elite PG competition in the East, so he might make it (nothing like the West where you have Kidd, Nash, Deron, and CP3). Mo has a shot at it, because the Cavs definitely get more attention than the Nets.
