Nobody cares about Wally producing. They just care about his expiring 13 million at the end of the year.

If worst comes to worst, we can let his 13 million dollar contract run off the books. It's not like we absolutly have to trade him.

Besides, were doing great as of now. Lets see where the team stands come February and then make a descision.

I truly suggest you and all of the Cavs fans out there to enjoy every bit of this A+ Grade basketball that our team is producing, because you never know what could happen in the NBA.

if we let Wally just expire it doesn't get us even under the luxury tax, nevermind anywhere near the salary cap.... so we would miss out on an opportunity to improve our roster by adding a star calibre player or combination of role players who would help us out huge.

.

also if we were to add any major trade to our team, I would hope we don't wait until too late in the season to where chemistry becomes an issue. The sooner we do it the better we have time to adjust new players to the system... but Wally is a waste if we don't trade his contract... considering how poorly he shoots, how slow footed he is and how badly he gets burned for turn-overs lately... if he wasn't making $13.5 mil/season I wouldn't be so harsh... but how long has this guy been in the league now? How many teams? Why did Garnett refuse to have him on his team?

.

other than that. I love this team.

^ Yeah, I mentioned letting Wally come off the books but somebody told me what you just said basically, if Gilbert wants to shell out the cash, the we need to get the guy before the trade deadline because we still wouldnt have money to get anyone through free agency..

honestly, i dont care if we trade for a star, or even a good player... personally i'd rather have young prospects, simply because our bigs are getting up there in age... if you can get someone good now, thats fine, but you gotta remember, we got a lot of cap space that we need to preserve in 2010... and noone we trade for is going to be better than Chris Bosh (40 - 20 tonight...)

If he keeps playing like this I would be happy if would could give him away for nothing. Sasha deserves to play more right now...

Well if you used to watch any basketball Wally was an all star who averaged like 24 pts a game and Garnett and him always wanted to be the star of the team they even fought a couple of times how do you think he got his big contract??? and he injured his knee i think a coouple of years ago and has never been the same and he never played any defense in his career at least he tries now... he's been in the league a while now... his teams were the t'wolves for a while then Boston, Seattle, and now Cleveland
