lebrons blocks

a lot of these blocks this season, he's timed them so well he could have blocked them with his elbow. i think he should start grabbing them out of the air instead of sending them into the stands. don't get me wrong, i love a good monster block just as much as the next person, but if he grabbed them out of the air, he'd be blocking/stealing the ball and causing a fast break opportunity. it's just a better basketball play.


 


how demoralizing would it be to have him grab your shot right out of the air?

I think they all look great especially when they're coming from either LBJ or Big Ben. Big Ben is definitely another great blocker for us.

I don't think I could decide on just one of them, but I have another question...  I don't want to hijack the thread or anything, but i'm curious why he smashes the ball out of bounds all the time.  Not that I don't love seeing that, but he gets so high and gets so much hand on the ball you would think he could just gather the ball and control it like a stolen pass instead sending it into the street.  There is something to be said for the statement made by an authorataive swat, but the statement could also be made by controlling the ball and sending it down the floor for a quick score as well.  Is it just me?

was that larry nance that said he would always block shots with the left hand to try to keep the ball in play? anyway it looks good......some of them stay in play like the one to Mo for the lay-up and some dont.

True, true.  I would just love to see Bron go up for the block and come down palming the ball.  Talk about intimidating. :-)

your eye pic is intimidating....but yeah I see what you mean. When you think about it why dont they do that more.  I mean shaq/d howard could do this everytime if they wanted to.

i think people forget lebron is just as much left handed as he is right handed. thats y he can be dominate left handed as well as right handed. im not sure if he is natural left handed, but i do know he does everything but play basketball left handed which is sweet because im left handed! haha so just imagine haha a block with his left hand can be just as deadily as a right hand!! so lebron in favor of ur fans, stop blocking u just give the other team a second chance at scoring!!! just kidding folks!

hehe...  I forgot about that eye image.  I access the boards mostly in slow periods at work and our servers block out almost all the images on the site.
