The Cavs are in need of a SG/PG more then a C/PF Why is this? well its easy if you think about who we have. At SG/PG we have 1. Mo 2. West 3. Gibson and thats about it besides backups Pav and Kinsey Then at C/PF we have 1. Z 2. Ben 3. Andy and backups with JJ and Jackson So you tell me Is gibson better at his job than andy this year??? NO Would you want JJ in the game before Pavs??? I know i would. So for you that think we need to go get a C/PF for wally you must be going on how Pav was thought to do this season and Gibson also. Fact is Andy is doing his job better then both of them together and JJ is a solid 4th big. just look at hows Bostons 4th big... not a huge name So I hope the cavs can land a redd or AK-47 for wally and even Pavs if need be. |

A SG that could play a little SF would be the perfect fit for wally and/or pavs. Then just keep getting JJ a few MPG and make sure he is ready if he is needed. Boston won it all last year with a rookie 4th big in BIG BABY DAVIS so why cant the cavs....... End of story |

Because Boston had 3 low post scorers in Garnett, Leon Powe, pj brown, and Kendrick Perkins. The Cavs have Z who has become a midrange center, Ben who has no offensive talent, and Varejao who has little post skills as well. I don't think you know what youre talking about. |

Z can do his thing when he needs to so can ben when he get him down there. LBJ's is the best player in the NBA at driving it to the hoop. anyways the cavs O isnt about tossing it down in the paint he have a load of great shoters and LBJ's with his driving. yes it would be nice to get a post player but it would change the cavs whole game and thats something i wouldnt want to do. |

Driving to the hoop is different than playing on the block, and if Z goes down we are screwed. guard is not a pressing issue on this team, we are overloaded at guard as it is. |

Mo and Delonte alone can and normally do play just as many, if not more minutes than Z, Ben, and Andy. So that along with what others have said about no post presence suggests you're wrong

P.J. Brown and Perkins arent offensive bigs just saying. Leon Powe and Glen Davis were rookies and KG scored a lot of points on jumpshots like Z does. Z has been doing some good work in the post lately, they need to use this as much as they can in the playoffs.
The one big difference is KG single handedly took care of post scoring, the Celts pound it to him. I don't know why the Cavs don't feed Z more like they have been doing the past few games. JJ will be our Leon Powe just wait..
I like Delonte West, but he isnt going to stop Kobe, Ray Allen, or Rip Hamilton in the playoffs. Im ok wit the cavs getting a SG at the deadline.. |
