...  the New York Knicks to put their assistant coaches in to play for their depleted roster?  It only makes sense...  they already had to do it in practice, so why not?  Tongue out

Haha know what honestly i wish the league would allow the knicks to sign a couple 10 day contract players and give some players that maybe not get a chance to play, to play in this league, there are a lot of athletes out there wanting a real chance and with a run and gun team they can play some in the NBA, i wish the league would give them an exception for part of the year so some young players can play, Ronald Dupree, Vernon Hamilton, players like that should get a chance to play even if its only for a few games

^^^good point....I'm just curious who they are going to draft or are they just gonna trade there picks away for 2 seasons.  I wonder if the Knicks could even play IN the D league.

on a different note, i'm watching the replay of the game and do Al Harrington and Shane Battie(spelling) have the same father because they both have those corn rows in there head but there "BALD"  There head look like a dirt road thats been driven on to much.

They are gonna draft, to build a team than D'Antoni wants in New York, i want to see some players get a chance, Vernon Hamilton i know doesnt even have a D-League job, and the knicks need a defensive stopper, he reminds me of a smaller eric snow, i think the knicks should be allowed to sign him or someone like him for a 10 day contract, just so that way they have players that can play, cause of all the situational stuff with their PG and all the injuries, they have 5 or 6 players out with injuries, they could always use a little help with that, i wish they would get an exception

Marcus you might be on to something...read the last sentence in this..

Marbury: Play me or waive me

Banned Stephon Marbury said yesterday he is no longer willing to negotiate a buyout and either wants to be released or be told to rejoin the team to play. Marbury's new tact sounded as if he was daring the Knicks to play him now that they are in desperate need of guard help. Marbury actually used the word "we" when talking about the Knicks' chances against the Cavaliers last night. However, it may be too late after his recent rips on his teammates and coach Mike D'Antoni. If Cuttino Mobley files for a medical retirement today because of a heart condition, the Knicks would have an open roster spot to sign a guard. Sources said they may be desperate enough to consider former All-Star shooting guard Allan Houston, now an assistant to the general manager.

With Thomas spraining an ankle, and Richardson getting the boot, the Knicks were two fouls away from playing 4 on 5.  Personally, I thought we should lend them Williams and Wright for the 4th quarter, but I don't think the NBA would like that.

But yeah, the NBA needs to do something about this.

While Houston may fit in Dantoni's style, Houston's knees will no longer fit in the NBA

I dont think there would be anythin wrong with that, i used to play for other teams when i was a kid, cause they needed players, and no one minded, i mean with so many players injuried, the Knicks should be given a few 10 days contracts signings so they can compete against teams and also give players a chance to play some minutes, Ronald Dupree is a solid player i dont know where he is at, so i mean the knicks should be allowed to sign a couple 10 days contracts and just see what some d-league players can do, i want to see that, cause things arent going right at all for the knicks at the moment
