I'm reading everybodys comments and this is the most intelligent forum I've been on your all correct ESPN is a joke you've got alot of opinionated people on there and all they talk about is sports drama but you know what I rather for them to be the underdog and keep a low profile because it only makes cleveland stronger and when we do win the championship title espn is going to be kissing Clevelands a** and its going to make victory even more sweet.Forget the regular season playoffs are what count. |

I catch alot of ESPN..and I for one, am GLAd I didn't hear anything about Lebron being the "Knicks SF"...and I hope I never do. Even as a joke, it's unprofessional and uncalled for.
"So, of course, LeBron then power drives to the hoop, elevates over the moon over Miami, and throws down the most earth-shaking, game-breaking, De-Wade-flating, Heat-baking, Celtics-baiting, Kobe-quaking, pancaking, scintillating, bombasticating, ain't-no-imitating, in-your-face-no-matter-which-way-you're-facing thunder dunk, delivered with such force that it takes the breath away of an entire generation."

I actually fired off an angry e-mail to ESPN today about the "New York Knicks Forward Lebron James" BS quote. They're lucky they only allow 500 characters in their contact us section because I was about to fire off an essay at their aces.
I understand the speculative talk and what not, but that is uncalled for and completely disrespectful. I wish Lebron would just come out and say "The next reporter that says anything at all about New York or 2010 regarding myself, will lose all contact and ability to interview me forever. This would include whatever organization that employee worked for as well."
That is the only, and I mean only thing that would shut them up. |

Good point...I wonder if the athletes have freedom to do that. Im sure they'd have their fun spinning "Lebron not wanting to talk to reporters" in all sorts of ways....but it would be refreshing not to hear ANYTHING about it.

ESPN never gives cleveland teams their due. they did a lil bit with the browns last season. they never acknowledge how great the team is playing, only lebron. i been thru with ESPN for a while now. only show i watch now is NFL Countdown (love Tom Jackson and Ditka) and Around The Horn sometimes..
