GM for the day: Would you make a trade this season?

* If you were the GM of the Cavs, would you make a trade this season? Mess with the chemistry? Potentially add a big-time player that puts you over the top? What type of player, position and all.. Name some guys...

Do you ever make posts that don't link to these "discussions"?

Yes, I would. of all the scenarios I have came up with lately, one I mentioned has two parts that are rumored to be very available daily. Chris Wilcox and Gerald Wallace. Wallace is that guy who can score by driving inside, and he defends up to 4 positions very solidly. Wilcox is a tall, strong power forward who enjoys getting his points by banging inside the paint. He will post up, and he doesn't demand a lot of attention. Perfect pf coming off the bench to spell Wallace.

Both are very good websites. The sports debating website has fans of all teams and sports. I love to talk Cavs and see what people are thinking though!

A player that's consistent. Someone who is balanced between scoring and perimeter defense. Not an all-star player, but someone who comes off the bench providing energy, and excellent perimeter defense. A guy who can defend the 2-4 positions effectively.

If I had to name a player that molds my needs, Shane Battier. He does everything I listed above, except coming off the bench. If there was a way of trading Wally straight up for Shane, we would be instant champions. Although I'm not sure there salaries match.

Salaries don't match, but I would also love to get Battier to be our 6th man. Houston would have to throw us a bad contract, I dont know if they have any.

YES! Wally's contract gets us nothing at the end of the year! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! We MUST trade him!
