i was talking about this with a buddy some time ago. I brought up how annoyed their fans must be getting. The good team that no one seems to notice...sound familiar? |

I did not want to start a new thread concerning these guys -- they have been playing very good ball on par with us just about. I still dont worry bout them but I thought we should now start to reevaluate who may possibly present themselves as a threat to our climb.. With Boston there sliding and I have a feeling we wont have to worry bout them too much longer we start to see some separation real soon like 1/9/09

This is exactly why I want the number one seed. Whoever has the number 2 seed has to duke it out with the number 3 seed. That is not an easy path to winning it all. If we got the 2nd seed, we would have to go through the Magic, Boston, and La/spurs most likely to win it all. I'd rather take the one seed.
Also, Dwight Howard is becoming a beast. Like Shaq in his prime beast. Also Jameer Nelson has really improved as a pg. The only problem with the Magic is that they do not have a good bench. |

The number one seed is definitely ideal. The playoffs being what they are, several number one seeds either didn't go to the Finals or lost in the championship round. It's a combination of what team is playing the best and can make its own breaks. |

Here was my predictions on Top 3 Finishes when Boston had that winning streak: 1.Boston Celtics. 2.Cleveland Cavaliers. 3.Orlando Magic
After the Celtics lost 4 in a row: 1.Cleveland Cavaliers 2.Orlando Magic 3.Boston Celtics.

orlandos record is impreeive, i wont lie, and some of their wins have blown me away, but, no one can hold lebron which can be a bit of a problem if youre the other team and if you lock up dwight howard(mike brown will not let dwight have a dunk contest vs us)it wont be easy but we will, now that we have mo, if they d tighten up an lebron mo will lrt loose, and delonte and boobie will have a field day because the magic will try to shut down lebron,a and rashad lewis is too slow for lebron, and if hedo can keep up with lebron he cant contain him, magic are a threat and nothing more |
