I dont want to sound negative, but it seems like when our team was losing last season, he was getting to much blame. I was one of them who despised Mike Brown, which is crazy because he always has the his players on the same page. It's funny how that works.

It shows that if you give a coach some talent to work with, he will more than likely shine. He finally has some pieces to work with, which is why the offense is off the charts, as well as the defense.

Congratulations Mike Brown!! Keep up the good work!  =)

I think we all, at one time or another, "despised" him a little back then, but that's just another part of how well him and the Cavs have improved over time. He definitely deserved the award and I'm proud to no longer "despise" him.

I hear there was a lot of angst about Brown's lineups and decisions when the Cavs started 1-2 this year, but he's done well for the Cavs overall.

well deserved for MB. the adjustments that he's made still surprises me sometimes since i was one of those who couldnt stand him in the previous seasons. he's the Most Improved Coach if there were such an award..

Props to MB-- delegating authority in the huddle to his assistants, letting grown men police themselves, always lifting up the organization with positive reinforcement. This guy was taught well . He is destined to become a championship Coach. One thats from Ohio. icing on the cake

IFWT--building the organization of champions.                                                  where being just 2 good happens

The truth of the matter is that his rotation in the Boston game did not put the Cavs in a favorable position to win that game.  The good thing is that he learned from his mistake quickly and did not make the same mistake again.

I've always been a fan of Mike Brown, so I am very happy for him to win this award.  He is not the best coach in the world and has his flaws, but I am glad Gilbert stuck through with him after last year's disappointing season.
