Here is the newest rumor out there. What do you think about this trade. I am not convinced that Jermaine Oneal is the answer but our bigs will be solid. I think the Cavs should look for a offense that can revolve around LeBron. Look at the Lakers offense, Gasol, FIsher, and Odom all revolve around Kobe and mark my words the Lakers will win the championship this year. 3rd qtr LA 58 Bos 58. That what we need in here so if LeBron can work with Oneal than let bring him in and trade Wally and our backup backup backup point guard. The Indiana Pacers are trying to dangle the #11 pick in hopes of being able to package it with one of their ugly contracts (preferably Jermaine O'Neal). There is talk out of O'Neal's camp that he anticipates being trade to Cleveland at some point this summer, possibly in a deal involving expiring contracts such as Wally Szczerbiak and Eric Snow.
The Pacers don't want to give O'Neal away for nothing, but the temptation of shedding his 23 million dollar contract from their cap figure (giving them substantial cap space to work with in July of 2009) may be too great to pass up. On Cleveland's end, it makes sense for their ownership to spend the money it will take to try and appease LeBron James and show them they are making the efforts to put together a championship caliber team. We've heard rumblings about this Cleveland/Indiana trade from a number of well-informed sources, so there appears to be at least some truth to it

Can we get a link for this? I know you're new, but if you don't provide a link for something as important as this, most people will just brush it off.

Oh, my bad... lol. And I called you the newb.
Newb lol jk I am not really a fan of JO, but if we can get him for that cheap AND get the 11th pick? DO IT!!!!!!!! Then either trade up higher to get Kevin Love or take Joe Alexander/JaVale McGee 11th and CDR 19th
Cavs 2009 offseason wish list (revised v1.3):
1. Trade Ben for an all-star quality player (CHECK)
2. Trade up in the draft or buy a pick to get Terrance Williams or Earl Clark (FAIL)
3. Now that Parker is a done deal, land C. Frye, L. Klezia, or B. Bass using the rest of the MLE (CHECK, I like J. Moon)
4. Sign a promising player or role player to the BAE like G. Green
5. Resign Joe Smith to the vet min. Then Andy to a reasonable contract (Half-CHECK)
6. Trade for a real PF with a jump shot
