And here is why.... http://www.tmz.com/2008/06/16/fighting-fans-screw-laker-nation/
TMZ has learned Lake Show bigwigs are afraid of another hometown fan fight night, like the one that broke out during game two, so they've pulled the plug on broadcasting game six at Staples Center. Sources close to the team tell TMZ, "It gets too rowdy...and there was one incident in particular that put it over the edge."
If all else fails punch them in the back of the head-Delonte West☮

Then what am I gonna watch on CNN tonight?
Actually this is sad, if they can't trust them on a game in which they CAN'T win the Championship, then how are they gonna be able to trust/prepare for if and when they DO hae a shot at it? It is kinda sad, that I watch the riots and looting, car fires after a championship....it's just compelling. Enough of the flooding in Iowa, the rising gas prices, and political posteuring, let's see some cars turned over and someone carrying a television down the street! People of Boston: The ball is in your court! Just kidding on all that of course, I want nothing more than peaceful relations between fans, and a very celebrated, but subdued party atmosphere. |
