CavFanatic Community Guidelines

Considering the real-time nature of this community, it is impossible for us to review all messages and / or confirm the validity of information prior to it being posted. Please remember that while we do actively monitor the contents of what is posted, we are not responsible for any of the content posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of the CavFanatic community or any entity associated with the CavFanatic community. Any user who feels that content is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by clicking the flag icon or by emailing webmaster@cavs.com. We have the ability to remove objectionable content and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this community to post any material which is:

• Knowingly false, defamatory, slanderous, or libelous

• Abusive
• Vulgar
• Hateful
• Harassing
• Obscene
• Profane
• Sexually oriented

• Objectionable
• Discriminatory
• Invasive of a person's privacy
• Or otherwise violative of any law


You also agree not to:

• Post any copyrighted material unless the copyrighted material is owned by you

• Spam the community. This includes, but is not limited to, repeatedly posting the same or similar content or posting any identical message more than one time or in more than one forum. Or post pointless or repetitive messages only to boost post count and earn points.

• "Troll" the community. In Internet terminology, a troll is someone who intentionally posts derogatory or otherwise inflammatory messages about sensitive topics in an established online community such as an online discussion forum to bait users into responding. They may also plant images and data on networks that others may find disturbing in order to cause confrontation.

• "Flame" other members. Flaming is the act of sending or posting messages that are deliberately hostile and insulting, usually in the social context of a discussion board on the Internet.

• Register and utilize more than one account per person in this community or assist (in any way) or encourage others to do this.

• Abuse the private messaging system

• Abuse the chat room. The community guidelines also apply to the chat room. The chat rooms are monitored via chat room transcripts.

• Post blatant and self-serving advertisements

Although we cannot review the content posted prior to going live, and are not responsible for the content of any of these messages, we reserve the right to delete, move, or edit any content for any reason whatsoever. You remain solely responsible for your content, and you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s). We reserve the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you. We also reserve the right to ban your use of this community if you are held in violation of any of the above guidelines or of the spirit of these Terms of Service. We will be the sole and final judge of any disciplinary actions taken with regard to the community guidelines.
