Another day, another win. This time with the added task of sweeping up after the watch party.....a task I am happy to do. I plan to whistle while I work just for good measure.
I had the good fortune to join about 1.4 million passionate Cavalier fans at the Mayfield Boneyard for tonight's Watch Party (aka Game Watch, ™ Kathy Layman). First of all....I guess the idea is that every Boneyard has to be bigger and better than the previous. Go big or go home. Bigger is better. Go yard. You get the idea, this place is as big as Charles Barkley's suit coats. Good thing, since as noted, there were a great many fans at this party.
I would comment on the game, but I don't want to be a sore winner. It should be noted that being a sore winner is better than being any kind of loser. Here is the rankings.
- Good winner
- Winner
- Sore Winner
- Honest Loser
- Winner who talks poorly-reasoned smack
- Winner who is later found to have used winning-enhancement drugs
- Earnest Loser
- Loser who claims to have been injured during the loss
- Sore Loser
There are some other sub-categories of this list, but you get the idea. Far be it from me to belabor a point. I am not one to go on and on about something. Once I make a point, I like to move on to the next topic. Beating a dead horse...it's just not my style. I don't like to work in the Department of Redundancy Department, if you know what I mean. And I know that you do.
Thanks to Cavs Marketing Savant Joel, I have an astounding 136 photos of the festivities in Mayfield Heights. That's about 136 more photos than the Hawks Mascot took at their watch party last week. I just care that much more. Joel was wearing a battting glove on his camera-hand, so I assume he will not have blistered from the rapid and firm button depression action he utilized in the 136 action photos from the event.
Click here to see the amazing collection of 136 photos, including shot of Olivier's rear, prom 2009, my broad rippling shoulders, and much much more. Over 135 photos included in this collection.
Please, no calls on Tuesday morning. As has become the custom after a sweep....I sleep in that next morning.
See you soon....after Boston and Orlando finish beating each other up. I plan to spend the next 4 night deciding who is more annoying Big Baby or Ray Allen. I shall keep you posted.
