My String of Saturday walks is in tact, after last Saturday's Kidney Walk at Wendy Park at Whiskey Island.
It was a morning of discovery for me. I discovered that you can walk for Kidneys, that some people only have one kidney, and other people have someone elses kidney in them.
That's both amazing....and a little weird. I don't like to chew other people gum, so this is out of my "comfort zone". That said, if I ever need a kidney, I will start chewing other peoples gum and start looking for a match. Necessity is the mother of invention (and organ transplant acceptance).
I also discovered I can rock out the national anthem....as a conductor. Take a lookie-see and a listen. You are bound to discover I have skillz.
Also, take a look at all the photos from the Kidney Walk from June 13th.
