    One year later

Tuesday, May 12, 2009, 02:28 PM CST [General]

It has almost been a full year since I last posted.  Yes, the playoffs last year affected me that much.  But now I'm back, and as for the Cavs - man are they back.

The first two series have been easy sweeps, and I believe most of the wins if not all have been by double digits.  That is definitely a part of the good news.

As for the Eastern conference finals, I'm not sure what to think about it.  I'm confident that the Cavs will win the series, but how much of a toll will it take on them this time.

If they can sweep either the Magic or the Celtics, I think they are a shoe in for the NBA title.  The Lakers are going to get all the can handle with the Rockets.  The winner of that series I think goes to the championship to meet with the Cavs.

And the championship between a possilbe Lebron and Kobe is certainly a ratings dream, but will that mean a competitive series.  I don't think so.

I think the Cavs romp the Lakers in 5, and Lebron gets his first of many NBA championships.  Who's with me?

    The dunk that sealed it

Tuesday, May 13, 2008, 12:27 PM CST [General]

This dunk was just crazy.  It was awesome to see the intensity and bliss from LBJ afterward.  I forget that he is still only 23 years old.  The couple of plays before this dunk, you could tell that LBJ was on a mission to do something great before the game was over (if having double-digit assists wasnt' good enough).  You go boy!

NO doubt my friend, I agree 100%. I want a clean hard fought game as well. Hopefully LBJ can shake this shooting slump and make it easier on his team mates. WOW, talk about role reversal!
