We lost to the Wizards. We're 8-4. RELAX. Let me walk you through a relaxation technique. Ready?
Take a deep breath and count to 10. That's the first thing you need to do to if you are freaking out about our Wine and Gold Warriors right now. Look, I'm an optimist. No, I'm not THE Optimst. He's taller, cooler and better looking than me. Well, he's at least taller. There are many things about the loss to the Wizards that can be troubling but that's taking the easy way out. No one thought that 12 games into the season we would 8-4. If you think that this is disappointing, think of it this way: there are 22 other teams in the NBA who would LOVE to be 8-4 and after we beat Indiana on Friday, there will be 25 other teams who would love to be 9-4. So...relax. This is a marathon, not a sprint. Enjoy the ride. It will provide a greater sense of appreciation at the end of the season. Listen to Frankie.

Dear Cleveland Browns,
You have not been yourself lately. The fire and passion that once burned bright is now a dying ember. The history between us goes deep and although I have gotten the best of you as of late, only 5 contests separate us from being equals again, but I must say the recent matchups has caused me great concern. The rivalry that once made families bond, friends unite and religious services to end early on Sunday, no longer exists. I have been unfaithful and I apologize for that. I have had to look towards others to provide the competition and challenge that I looked forward to every year, but none of them come close to what we have created. Even in those years when you were away, it was not the same and I petitioned that you come back to your home on the shore of Lake Erie so that our tradition could continue. As I continue to watch the downward spiral that you are going through, I have no choice but to petition you to get it together. The true measure of a person is how they perform and deal with things when they are at its darkest hour. The hope that I and your closest “backers” have for you is slowly fading just as the fire within you begins to flicker and darkness sets in.
We may not like each other but we need each other. I beg you to turn this thing around. Right this ship and bring back the Browns we all know and love. The hate and animosity that I had towards you has now been replaced with sympathy and pity. Bring back the excitement and energy that provided us with memorable battles that our followers can once again share with their children. Do not deprive our fans of the rivalry that is not only the oldest in the AFC but one of the greatest in ALL of sports. People made plans and stopped their lives for 3 hours to watch us compete. Let’s give that back to them. We owe that to them.
I will be in town on Thursday, December 10th for your answer. I hope you provide the answer that we ALL are looking for. Best of luck until then.
Your Rival and Friend, The Pittsburgh Steelers
PS Try throwing the ball more than 10 yards on pass plays. You might see that this helps in moving the ball down the field.

I'm not mixing words on this one people. Let's just get to the point on this one. Tomorrow is Guys Nite Out presented by Arby's at the Cavs game. But this isn't like the other GNO's we've had in the past. For starters, Arby's thought that this year's GNO was gonna be so amazing, they are on board to present the 6 nights this year. Let's face it, right now..."you're thinking Arby's." See how that worked? Yeah, you still get a pre-game buffet, a Cavalier Girl calendar or Cavs t-shirt plus meet the Cavaliers Legends and Cavs Girls...but wait....there's more!
Brian Windhorst and ESPN's Chris Broussard will be on hand to for a special Q&A with GNO attendees TOMORROW ONLY. There is only one way to meet them and that is to buy a Guys Nite Out presented by Arby's ticket package for you and your friends. Ladies, you are more than welcome to attend too. Where else would you want to go to talk about basketball and meet guys than to a Cavs game? I rest my case.
Limited seats are left so click here and get your tickets. It all starts at 6:30pm tomorrow night. I'll be there...will you?
Ok, so today isn't known as this but it is "Election Day" (said in an answer voice with an echo effect). Regardless of who you are, you should get out and vote today. Your opinion matters and you do make a difference. Think I'm wrong? Ask Kokinis. Need another example? Watch how LeBron "elects" to go off on the Wizards tonight for his 26th career triple-double. Want another one? You want a third example? Did you say, "Yes on 3?" I thought you did. I'm chosing to end my blog right now.
Still have that bad taste in your mouth from last year? Do you still remember what it was like when the season ended so abruptly? Do you remember thinking to yourself, "I can't wait until next year"? Guess what...it's next year.
This is what we have waited for. As we enter into our 40th season, it is sure to be special. For the 20,562 in attendance tonight and the hundreds of thousands watching and listening to the game tonight from around the world (most importantly, YOU, our CavFanatics), if someone asks you why you are so excited for this season, kindly reply, "It's my time. "
