Greetings Cavfanatics!
As you may (or may not) know, the 2010 Winter Olympic Games begin in 5 days in Vancouver. Typically, being really cold all day is not my idea of fun HOWEVER, I am so excited for the games to start!
I was lucky enough to be asked to produce one of the venues for the Olympics, so on Wednesday I am leaving for the month of February to produce the Figure Skating and Short Track Speed Skating venue. I can't wait!
My husband, Jon Greco (who is also the director of video production for the Cavs) was asked to direct the video board for the Curling venue and he is already there. He has been calling and texting non-stop to tell me how beautiful the city looks and how alive everything feels as the city waits for the 12th to roll around.
So bright and VERY early Wednesday morning (after the Cavs dismantle the Nets) I begin my journey. I'm expecting a lot of sleepless nights in my immediate future, but I know the energy of the Olympics and the great human spirit that abounds during the games will carry me through.
I will miss not being at The Q while I am gone, but we already have our League Pass all set up so we won't miss a second of Cavs action. I know that the Cavfanatics will keep this place jumping and will be giving our team the home court advantage that the Q is known for.
I am planning to share stories and photos as I go, so I hope you are able to enjoy the journey with me.
Until then, I say "Have a great day, eh?"
GO CAVS!

Why am I always the last to see the new stuff?
MoondogI hope it still has that new van smell.
