I think I'm just now coming down off my adrenaline high from last night.
That...was...AWESOME!
I love our team.
I love Delonte West's running three-pointer at the buzzer. I love Big Ben knowing just how big this game was, and breaking out the fro accordingly. I love LeBron proving that in fact his team really never is desperate, and doing so by dropping 32. I love 17-2 runs.
And no matter what happens in Game 7 tomorrow, I love that our team won on our court in front of our fans.
I'm sure the other 20,561 of you had as much fun at The Q as I did last night. There was just a different feeling in the air. We all knew what was on the line. And in true fanatic fashion, you could feel the fans willing our team to a victory.
It was also good to see so much emotion from the team. Guys like LBJ, D-West and Andy clearly were feelin' it. There were definitely some man-hugs going around last night.
So that brings us to tomorrow. Game 7. In Boston.
There's only one place you will find me tomorrow: at The Q. I think it's so cool, and appropriate, that the Cavs decided to have the biggest watch party of the year at the arena. It should be just like a home game...only watching the team in Boston on Q-Tube. That sounds pretty sweet to me.
And I expect to see you all there too. You know how I feel about all of us gathering and cheering together while the team's on the road. And if ever there was a time for us to band together in support of the Wine and Gold, this is it.
Tomorrow, more than ever, we must Rise Up!
Man-Hugs All Around!
