    The Game of Hope

Wednesday, January 28, 2009, 04:48 PM EST [General]

Recognition needs to be made to Jeff Ryznar and his nomination to play in "The Game of Hope".  The game is a charity event designed to raise money for chronically and terminally ill children.  He was recognized for his community actions and support along with his continued efforts to help anyone and everyone that may be in need at any time.  He is a true staple in the community.  Those that know "Ryz" know he will always go the exta mile and is willing to take on extra responsibility at work and at home.  Once Again...Congrats Jeff, your friends and family are proud!  As someone who witnessed the game, not in the sense of LBJ, there is no doubt my man needs to get with Max and get them ankles taped and Stan to strengthen them dogs so you never turn another one!!!!  You did lead all players in 3 point FG% shooting a steller 100%!!!  I would probably say you may have had more opportunity however there was not enough time because one of your teammates had to take his 56 shots!!!  Here ya go..."Ryz from 3-3-0"

    Doc Legend!

Tuesday, December 30, 2008, 05:45 PM EST [General]

There is a certain CAVFANATIC out there that does not believe in blogging!  Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh, "I'm too cool to blog!!"  Although not as legendary as his childhood hero Larry Bird, he does love gummy worms, chocolate pudding, and the Red Panda.  If I were him this is how my blog would go....

Tony B is the best, there is no better!  The Cleveland Cavaliers are the best, yeahhhhhhhhhhh!

Oh well, I guess my point is across without wasting too much time!!!

    True Professional

I want to personally thank Jeff Ryznar for making things happen!  You are a true professional.  You were called upon and you delivered more than anyone could ask.  With the help of Moondog and Ahmad you brightened the day of a young Cavalier fan going through a rough time.  Thanks.

    Relentless

Sunday, November 30, 2008, 08:22 PM EST [General]

As the media type continue their relentless quest to pry LBJ from Cleveland, it is only fitting that our team's relentless effort on the court is piling up W's.  This TEAM is something special.  I had many conversations with fellow cavfanatics before this season started, we all agreed this is the year for something special.  It seems no matter who they play, they play in sync, and take care of business.  You could visiblysee the desire in their eyes, you could feel the energy at the Q, you could sense the determination. Fred and Austin have done a phenomenal job bringing the energy to the broadcast for the unfortunate times I could not attend a game.  Stay hungry, eat often, and bring that championship home guys.  Go Cavs!

    Family Picture Time

Sunday, November 16, 2008, 08:20 PM EST [General]

As a proud father of three boys, all under the age of 7, I try to get them as excited about the Cavaliers as I am.  They are beginning to understand!  Anthony the oldest always looks at the screen and is quick to ask what the other teams initials stand for and tell me what the score is at the time.  If, by chance, the Cavs are trailing, he says... "Dad, why are the Cavs losing?  They are suppose to win. " Dante, soon to be 5, cares nothing about basketball but knows who LeBron is and wears his jersey with pride.  He uses the Cavs game as an excuse to stay up late..."Dad, can I watch the Cavs game with you?"  He knows I would never say no to that.  And Nico, recently 3, cares nothing and knows nothings about basketball except that his dad is a big Cavs fan.  When I leave early in the morning he asks "Dad, are you going to work?"  When I leave early evening he asks "Dad, are you going to a Cavs game?"  Well today we ventured out to the portrait studio for family pictures.  Any parent will probably agree this is hardly any fun.  We took the traditional family photo only to duplicate a halftime show and quick change into our Cavs' jerseys.  The rest is history!  We actually managed to make this the least painful sitting in the history of our family!  See ya at the Q! Go Cavs!
